If on a Winter's Night an arch of items that evoke the era of the spirits, the mysterious silence of snow, days of solitude and reflection for some, a time of rebirth and celebration for many. With the traditional music of the British Isles as a starting point, Sting and his guest musicians to draw the listener through a collection of songs, carols, lullabies and spanning the centuries - such as the snow melts sooner ( Newcastle traditional ballad), Soul Cake English (traditional "begging" song) Gabriel's Message (14th Century Carol) and two compositions by Sting - Lullaby for an anxious child and the hounds of winter. Also featured on the album is Hurdy Gurdy Man - a musical adaptation and translation (by Sting) Der Leiermann the winter classic song by Schubert, Winterreise cycle. For this exploration of the themes and emotions of winter Sting is joined by his friend and colleague of long ago, guitarist Dominic Miller - and a set of three notable musicians in northern England and Scotland: Kathryn Tickell (fiddle and pipes Northumbria) Julian Sutton (melodies) and Mary MacMaster (Scottish harp metal chain). Additional guest artists include Vincent Segal (cello), Daniel Hope (violin), Chris Botti (trumpet), Javier Rios (trumpet), Stile Antico (vocal), Cyro Baptista (percussion), Bijan Chemirani (percussion) and the Sisters of Webb (voice). This Is It by Michael Jackson : CD released on 10/27/2009

This Is It features music that inspired the upcoming Sony Pictures film Michael Jackson is IT.

Disc one will feature the original album masters of some of Michael's greatest hits arranged in the same order they appear in the film. The album ends with two versions of the never released "This Is It". This song appears in the final sequence of the film and includes vocals from brothers Michael, Jackson.

Disc two earlier offers new versions of some of the artist's classic themes. This disc also features a moving poem word by Michael Jackson entitled "Planet Earth" which has never been heard before.

The two-disc This Is It is an independent film company, and includes a 36-page commemorative booklet with exclusive photos of Michael in his latest essay.

2009 the release of Eddie Vedder and children, his ninth album overall. To backspace, lasting Grunge rockers decided to do something bigger. They left J Records, and decided to release the album themselves, and that doubt has enough money to do that. They also hooked up with 90 alternative rock du jour producer Brendan O'Brien (Korn, Bruce Springsteen), the first time the band has worked since 1998 with O'Brien's performance. The music on the disc offers a sound influenced by pop and New Wave.
