The Fame Monster [Deluxe Edition] by Lady Gaga : CD released on 11/23/2009

An album title has never been so self-prophetic? In its first year, this work is fired electropop of unknown lounge singer Lady Gaga from New York to the biggest pop star in the world on this side of Britney Spears. The mark of Fame is unabashedly decadent population: 11 of its 13 songs are about money, fame, sex, clubs, or a sticky combination of the four. It is tasteless material, unless you feel less like a fool Gaga, blonde made a great artist in the role of a glamorous pop star. Witness opening songs impeccably elegant fame, from the labyrinthine neglect chorus of "Just Dance" with the fast pace, futuristic "Poker Face": Gaga is outrageous clothes and dance moves into a science, but in the end, music is aggressive and authoritarian manner than most other Top 40 tracks are not. Often compared to that of Gwen Stefani, are actually Gaga voice richer and more rounded, allowing for a versatility of style and certain characters for the wild party boy lover vulnerable. Some risks do not always pay, but the Lady Gaga, burning the dark megahit "Poker Face" prevails. She requisitioned enough, strange and alluring enough to ensure that she will enjoy our attention for a very long time.

Wait For Me by Moby : CD released on June 30, 2009

While listening to filmmaker David Lynch speak at the BAFTA Awards in February 2008, Moby was a revelation. Lynch's message of creativity for its own interest is a beautiful, beautiful thing, it was a simple, but it hit Moby with the power of the Zen master's cane. "At that moment I decided to simply records that were more personal," says Moby, "perhaps more experimental, and a little more challenge, perhaps not so easy to like, but things that I found to be more artistic and creative satifying. That was the idea behind creating the new album. "

The album from this Epiphany, Wait For Me, is a radical departure from Moby's recent album, last year on the dance floor anthem, Last Night, 2008's flirtation with modern rock, Hotel, the shimmering atmosphere of 2002 is 18, and the Zeitgeist - the define melancholy electronica of 1999's games. Freed from the pressure of trying to please at the same time as the industry, making Wait For Me Moby decided to dispense with the expensive studio, state-of-the-art equipment, big name guest artists, and phalanxes of graphic designers and image consultants who characterized some of his previous albums. "There is something so relaxing about doing everything yourself and not try to second-guess the market," says Moby. "It's fun to try to do things for the right reasons, just a record, because you want to make a record."
