The Fall by Gorillaz : CD released on 4/19/2011

From Montreal to Vancouver via Seattle, Texas and Toronto, over 32 days tour on North America during this autumn, Gorillaz recorded a musical diary. The result is a collection of 15 tracks, some with vocals, some without, some combined performances and some solo. The 15 track sonic journal, titled The Fall, was produced by Gorillaz and Stephen Sedgwick.

The music was recorded during spare time while on the road. "I did it because there's a lot of time that you just spend staring at walls essentially. And it was a fantastic way of doing it" says Damon Albarn. "I found working in the day, whether it's in the hotel or in the venue, it was a brilliant way of keeping myself well." Adding that the collection is "..like a diary, I literally wrote everything on the day in each place and there's a strange sort of sound of America and its musical traditions that comes through. It feels like a journey through America."

National Ransom by Elvis Costello : CD released on 11/2/2010

On new album "National Ransom" once again Elvis Costello teams up with Grammy award winning producer T Bone Burnett and engineer Michael Pierante. Recorded in 11 days between LA and Nashville, Elvis is joined by all the members of the Imposters and Sugarcanes along with special guests Vince Gill, Marc Ribot, Buddy Miller and Leon Russell. All of these songs are newly composed by Costello with the exception of "I Lost You," co-written with Jim Lauderdale and "All These Strangers," for which Costello and T Bone Burnett collaborated on the lyrics. Intimacy by KEM is deeply personal lessons to inspire intimacy, and will allow fans to experience it, unlike ever before, lyrically, musically, and visually. Intimacy features vocal and production collaborations with the likes of Grammy-winning soul diva Jill Scott and the late Motown legend David J. Van dePitt, as is well known produced Marvin Gaye's masterpiece of 1971, what's going on. The first online video released a revealing look behind the scenes features of the development of a promotional spot for the new album, which was shot in the MGM Grand in Detroit. It serves as a formal introduction of the new album and KEM understanding of intimacy. "The moment you realize you're not alone is your finest hour," he says at the beginning of the commercial.
