Wide Open by Jason Aldean : CD released on Apr.7, 09

After selling two million copies of his first two albums, topping the charts with five smash hits, award nominations tear resistance and are each required stop on the "new artist" tour circuit for the last three years, country rocker Jason Aldean is full gas in the spring. Having just wrapped its first full and very successful headlining tour, he is prepared to seize this momentum with the release of his long-awaited third album, Wide Open, due April 7 The Macon, Georgia native packed in 2008 on a high note. Aldean the debut of "She's Land ', the first single from the forthcoming CD and now the fastest rising single of his career so far, was introduced with a" lights-out performance on the CMA Awards in November. After hearing the lyrics and energy in the demo of "She's Land", Aldean knew it would be a great fit for his live show. "When we in the studio and he played for the first time, but flew out of the speakers!" he exclaims. "The modern, aggressive sound of Wide Open country, as well as Jason Aldean and ruthless, can be attributed to both producer Michael Knox and Aldean's touring band, which subtracts Aldean's live sound in the studio recordings, the melting of the two in an unstoppable force his fans are identified by the first note. "I have worked with Michael Knox for 10 years. We are good friends and he has a really good idea of the nature of the songs I like," says Aldean. "We have about a year to find all the songs and record them between performances. We were able to turn the sound we created together consistently with my live band in the studio. We almost read each other's thoughts." With a calendar full of dates and a power-packed set embedded with hits and new material, Aldean was ready to hit the road with superstars including Keith Urban and Toby Keith and living each day the only conceivable way - wide open!

Fantasies by Metric : CD released on April 14, 2009


Metric is a four piece band formed in NYC, based on various dates in Toronto, Montreal, LA, and London. Their fourth full length studio fantasies album is a lot to expect follow-up to 2005 highly appreciated LIVE IT OUT. Fantasy is written by the band in a farm outside Seattle, and front woman Emily Haines in exile in Argentina. The album was recorded in guitarist Jimmy Shaw own Giant Studio in Toronto and mixed at Electric Lady in NYC by Grammy winner John O'Mahony (Coldplay, The Strokes). A densely textured mix of modern psychedlia, electro and rock, this album is dream like quality remains true to the band and aesthetic while venturing into more accessible musical territory. In striking track''Gimme Sympathy''when sharp brass Haines cites the age-old existential dilemma -''Who would you rather be: The Beatles or The Rolling Stones''-this is because they already know her answer: neither.
The CD album will be released on April 14, 2009
