Flight 666 (2CD) [LIVE] by Iron Maiden : CD released on June 9, 09



As a very special bonus for the fans, Maiden have compiled songs from sixteen different cities in eleven countries around the world, for the first time ever encompassing such varied places and cultures in one concert. The soundtrack audio version of the live show will be available on a double CD, as a limited edition vinyl set with two picture discs, and a digital download especially for those fans who do not have DVD access or just want to enjoy the show as a great live album. All are lavishly packaged as an ultimate memento of a tour to remember!

Fantasies by Metric : CD released on April 14, 2009


Metric is a four piece band formed in NYC, based on various dates in Toronto, Montreal, LA, and London. Their fourth full length studio fantasies album is a lot to expect follow-up to 2005 highly appreciated LIVE IT OUT. Fantasy is written by the band in a farm outside Seattle, and front woman Emily Haines in exile in Argentina. The album was recorded in guitarist Jimmy Shaw own Giant Studio in Toronto and mixed at Electric Lady in NYC by Grammy winner John O'Mahony (Coldplay, The Strokes). A densely textured mix of modern psychedlia, electro and rock, this album is dream like quality remains true to the band and aesthetic while venturing into more accessible musical territory. In striking track''Gimme Sympathy''when sharp brass Haines cites the age-old existential dilemma -''Who would you rather be: The Beatles or The Rolling Stones''-this is because they already know her answer: neither.

Years of Refusal by Morrisey : released on Feb.17, 09



Morrissey will release 'Years of Refusal "in the U.S. February 17, 2009 Attack / Lost Highway. "Years of refusal" is Morrissey's first studio album since 2006 in the United Kingdom # 1 "ringleader of the Tormentors." In February, Morrissey starts the U.S. leg of its World Tour with rare intimate club dates.


The late Jerry Finn, who previously worked in the 2004 critical and commercial smash "You Are the Quarry" produced "Years of Refusal" is the last album he worked on. The single "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris", that Morrissey debuted during his sold out 2007 World Tour, will precede the album. Long time band Boz Boorer, Jesse Tobias, Matt Walker and Solomon Walker playing on the album, including a contribution of Jeff Beck on the track "Black Cloud".


Morrissey is often recognized as the leading British musicians of his generation. The New York Times recently, "Morrissey is not just a singer, he is one of the defining rock stars of the past decades by virtue of his great voice, songs are grand, and his charming habit of playing with melodrama. His influence is felt worldwide through the many artists who cite him as their primary inspiration. "Years of refusal" is a masterful work that finds Morrissey and the band at their best with a well-muscled and the inimitable voice and lyrics of a legend.
