Sexy French violinist Laurent Korcia, one of the most distinctive and varied violinists of his generation, is considering a wide audience with his first album of film music, Cinema. The magical journey of CINEMA includes stylish arrangements of this unforgettable film as Henry Mancini's Moon River (Breakfast at Tiffany's), John Williams' Schindler's List, Gershwin's Summertime (Porgy and Bess), Speak Softly Love (The Godfather), Ennio Morricone's Cinema Paradiso, Chaplin's Smile (Modern Times) and a day My Prince Will Come (Snow White).
CINEMA, was included in parallel with a sold out gala performance vieren'100 Years of Film Music "at the Folies Bergere in Paris. The resulting TV special will air on public television in June 2009.
Laurent Korcia performs regularly with the world's leading orchestras. His CDs are top sellers in Europe, and his solo programs ranging from Bach to jazz and pop. He was listed in People's Party 'Sexiest Man Alive "issue (12/2008) and is set to tour the U.S. later this year.
