Lines, Vines and Trying Times [ENHANCED] by Jonas Brothers : CD released on 6/16/09

Lines, Vines and Trying Times showcases an incredible musical journey through the Jonas Brothers and their growth as songwriters and musicians. They have included horns in several numbers as well as harmonica and peddle steel guitars. The first single, "Paranoid" is a guitar driven song dance calls and the whole CD is a veritable smorgasbord of pop and rock gems. "World War III" is a metaphor for a funk confrontational relationship. Written by Nick Jonas, he suggests, "This is a personal experience for me." World War III "deals with the challenge of a girl that keeps attacking you, try to provoke you, but all the while the only fight." "Fly With Me" which is also the end title credits for the next "Night at the Museum 2" film (in theaters May 22), was written by Jonas Brothers and their bassist Greg Garbowsky and is definitely a love song for the ages. On "Poison Ivy" Jonas Brothers still blazerssectie. In their summer music preview issue, Rolling Stone described the ultra-catchy "Poison Ivy" as a Weezer-ish tune about a toxic girl you can not resist. " "Hey Baby" is a classic "she done him wrong" song written entirely by Jonas Brothers. "We wrote this song for the last record, while on the road and felt the old school sound was more coherent with our current style," explains Nick Jonas.

With all these questions is easy to see the Jonas Brothers came up with the title Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Joe Jonas says, "Rules are the proverbial" lines people will, and vines are obstacles that get in the way. " Kevin Jonas adds, "Trying Times can be relationships, or something personal to you. No one is that we are all through."
