After almost two decades writing and recording some of the most emotionally powerful music of his generation, Tori Amos will release his album first season, Midwinter Thanks, on November 10 via Universal Republic Records. Monitor critically acclaimed album, Tori's, abnormally attracted to sin, Midwinter Thanks Tori is in remodeling and expansion of traditional carols, and the development of some of their very own seasonal songs. Thanks Winter Solstice is an album that has been in the manufacture of the last 40 years. Raised in the Baltimore area under the watchful eye of his father, a Methodist minister, Tori grew up playing holiday carols Sunday services and celebrations of Christmas Day in the church of his father. These were the songs that made a young Tori her first taste of music, and now almost 40 years after Tori gets his own chance to reimagine classics like "What Child, Nowell" and "Star of Wonder". Tori also provide his own bittersweet happiness of the season, with original songs like "Pink and Glitter" and "Our New Year."
